When we visited Roy in March this year, we were captivated by the passion with which he cultivates and processes his coffee. We were received with great warmth by him and his wife, Dariela, who also owns land and works with specialty coffee, the two together having approximately 1.7 hectares for cultivation. This is not the first lot we buy from Roy and certainly not the last. We like it for its sweet chocolate profile with hints of caramel and ripe fruits.
