As Uganda continues to develop its presence in the specialty coffee world, projects like The Coffee Gardens are helping build a more consistent, transparent, and quality-focused approach to coffee production.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eEstablished in 2017, The Coffee Gardens began with a vision of creating a direct connection between coffee farmers and consumers while providing meaningful opportunities for local communities. The project supports farmers through agricultural training, financial bonuses, environmental initiatives, and transparent purchasing practices. In 2022, the washing station was rebuilt at a new location to increase processing capacity and support the project\u0026#39;s growth. Gombe Gardens comes from farmers cultivating coffee on the mountain above the station, personally delivering their freshly harvested cherries for processing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eGrown between 1800 and 2000 meters above sea level, this coffee combines Nyasaland, SL14, and SL28 varieties and undergoes washed processing. The result is a pleasant, balanced cup with notes of apricot, chocolate, buttery biscuits, and caramel.
