At Finca Recalmo, producer Edwin Noreña continues to redefine how flavor is created in coffee. This Sudan Rume lot originates from his second farm, located in Ciro, Valle del Cauca, and was processed through his renowned Campo Hermoso station, where Edwin designs his most experimental fermentations.

This coffee underwent a Black Honey process combined with a controlled fermentation using hops — a method that merges Edwin’s precision-driven fermentation design with the creativity of craft brewing. Cherries were selectively handpicked, depulped, and placed into multistage tanks infused with hop extracts, followed by slow drying under shade to preserve delicate aromatics.

The result is a deeply layered and bold cup. It’s a coffee that embodies Edwin’s belief that innovation should never come at the cost of clarity — a balance of science, instinct, and sensory artistry.

How long does it take for my order to be processed and delivered?

We process orders within 2–4 business days, depending on workload. On the first business day after the weekend, we process all orders received on holidays. Delivery in Romania is then made in approximately 24–48 hours, depending on the courier and location.

Where does the coffee you roast come from?

Our coffee comes from sustainable farms, carefully selected from various producing regions. We visit at least two different origins each year, where we get to know the farmers personally and see first-hand the processing methods. This way, we ensure that each batch meets our quality and traceability standards.

Can I return the coffee?

For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for coffee packages.

Why does my coffee taste different from one order to another?

Specialty coffee is a natural product. The flavor may vary slightly depending on the harvest, growing conditions, and roast profile chosen for that batch, but we promise to always maintain our standards of quality and freshness.
