El Salvador – Finca San Francisco doesn’t represent the first lot we have from Andrés Salaverría — and certainly won’t be the last. As a foundational lot we plan to keep consistently in our repertoire, this El Salvador selection beautifully portrays the complexity of coffees from El Salvador. And yet, it maintains a remarkable balance — making it the perfect option for a cup full of personality and at the same time, comfortably approachable.
Finca San Francisco is located in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range near Juayúa, an area known for volcanic soils, dense shade cover and sloped terrain — ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality coffee. The estate spans nearly 300 hectares and is divided into smaller “tablones,” each with its own micro-environment, at altitudes between roughly 1,200 and 1,700 meters.
Andrés, the fifth generation of the Salaverría family, leads the estate’s continuous innovation. Over the years, he has moved the family’s focus beyond commercial volume, placing far more emphasis on traceability, sustainable practices, varietal selection and experimental processing. The result is a portfolio of coffees that remain true to El Salvador’s heritage, yet carry an unmistakably modern energy.
This lot reflects the richness of the country’s terroir: touches of stone fruit, chocolatey sweetness, and a solid structure that makes it suitable both for exploration and for daily comfort. Many lots from Finca San Francisco highlight classic varietals like Bourbon and meticulous processes such as washed or anaerobic-washed methods around 1,500 meters altitude.
In short: Finca San Francisco is more than a “good coffee.” It is one of the pillars of our sourcing map - a reliable, character-driven coffee that brings both identity and consistency to our selection.

We process orders within 2–4 business days, depending on workload. On the first business day after the weekend, we process all orders received on holidays. Delivery in Romania is then made in approximately 24–48 hours, depending on the courier and location.
Our coffee comes from sustainable farms, carefully selected from various producing regions. We visit at least two different origins each year, where we get to know the farmers personally and see first-hand the processing methods. This way, we ensure that each batch meets our quality and traceability standards.
For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for coffee packages.
Specialty coffee is a natural product. The flavor may vary slightly depending on the harvest, growing conditions, and roast profile chosen for that batch, but we promise to always maintain our standards of quality and freshness.
