ETHIOPIA DANCHE HYDRO HONEY 1KG

The Danche processing station, located in Chelbesa village, Gedeb region, Yirgacheffe, was established in 2019 by SNAP Specialty Coffee. At an altitude of 1,900 to 2,200masl, the area benefits from fertile red soils, a semi-open forest and slopes ideal for growing coffee. The station now serves around 800 smallholder farmers, who grow heirloom Ethiopian varieties such as Kurume and Wolisho. The batch presented here is an anaerobically fermented honey process, which highlights vibrant fruity notes — it immediately made us think of strawberry jam and dried figs.
