ETHIOPIA RUMUDAMO WASHED 250G

Rumudamo Washed showcases the refined, floral, and elegant side of Ethiopian coffee. Located in Sidama, Rumudamo Washing Station works with smallholder farmers who grow traditional landrace varieties at elevations between 1,800 and 2,000 meters. The combination of altitude, rich soil, and cool mountain climate creates the perfect environment for producing clean, aromatic coffees.

The washed process at Rumudamo is known for its precision: cherries are hand-sorted, depulped, and then fermented in cool water before undergoing several rounds of washing. After fermentation, parchment is moved to raised beds for slow, even drying. This careful approach enhances clarity and highlights the delicate, tea-like character that makes washed Ethiopian coffees so iconic.

The cup is bright and floral, with the kind of elegant acidity and refined sweetness that Sidama is famous for. Aromas often lean toward elderfllower, bergamot and a crisp, refreshing finish. Rumudamo has built a strong reputation over the years as a station that delivers consistent, competition-level washed coffees.

How long does it take for my order to be processed and delivered?

Where does the coffee you roast come from?

Our coffee comes from sustainable farms, carefully selected from various producing regions. We visit at least two different origins each year, where we get to know the farmers personally and see first-hand the processing methods. This way, we ensure that each batch meets our quality and traceability standards.

Can I return the coffee?

For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for coffee packages.

Why does my coffee taste different from one order to another?

Specialty coffee is a natural product. The flavor may vary slightly depending on the harvest, growing conditions, and roast profile chosen for that batch, but we promise to always maintain our standards of quality and freshness.
