For the third consecutive season, we are returning to La Colina, Antonio Medina’s farm in Chimaltenango, Antigua. Over time, it has become one of those farms that we are slowly getting to know beyond a single lot or harvest. Each season adds another layer to our connection with the origin, while preserving the same underlying character: clean, balanced and approachable coffees.
The name La Colina translates simply as “the hill”, a reference to the position of the land at approximately 1,700 metres above sea level. Antonio received the plot from his father, and in the beginning it was mainly used to grow corn and beans. Coffee, however, was the project he truly wanted to pursue. After working on other farms to learn the craft, he planted his first coffee trees on his own land in 1991 and gradually developed La Colina season after season.
Today's suggested lot is a washed Yellow Bourbon with a classic and elegant expression. Its profile brings together the sweetness of ripe apricot and orange with a delicate jasmine-like florality, while caramel adds roundness and balance. Roasted as an omniroast, it is a bright and versatile coffee: especially enjoyable as a clean, aromatic filter brew, yet sweet and balanced enough for a delicate espresso.

We process orders within 2–4 business days, depending on workload. On the first business day after the weekend, we process all orders received on holidays. Delivery in Romania is then made in approximately 24–48 hours, depending on the courier and location.
Our coffee comes from sustainable farms, carefully selected from various producing regions. We visit at least two different origins each year, where we get to know the farmers personally and see first-hand the processing methods. This way, we ensure that each batch meets our quality and traceability standards.
For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for coffee packages.
Specialty coffee is a natural product. The flavor may vary slightly depending on the harvest, growing conditions, and roast profile chosen for that batch, but we promise to always maintain our standards of quality and freshness.
