Las Gardenias farm is located in Malacatancito, Huehuetenango, one of Guatemala's most recognised coffee-growing regions. At approximately 1,900 metres above sea level, Eddy Macdonald Lopez grows Pacamara, a variety known for its large beans, aromatic complexity and generous texture in the cup.

For this lot, the cherries were naturally processed with an anaerobic fermentation stage. The combination of Pacamara, high elevation and an expressive processing method highlights the coffee's sweetness and depth while retaining enough acidity to give the cup structure and energy.

The result is a rich and lively profile, with notes of sour cherry, dark chocolate, molasses and hazelnut. The fruit brings a juicy acidity, while the darker chocolate and brown-sugar character creates a dense, lingering sweetness.

We roast this coffee as a Modern Espresso, aiming to emphasise its body and natural sweetness while preserving the expressive fruit character created by the anaerobic natural process.

How long does it take for my order to be processed and delivered?

We process orders within 2–4 business days, depending on workload. On the first business day after the weekend, we process all orders received on holidays. Delivery in Romania is then made in approximately 24–48 hours, depending on the courier and location.

Where does the coffee you roast come from?

Our coffee comes from sustainable farms, carefully selected from various producing regions. We visit at least two different origins each year, where we get to know the farmers personally and see first-hand the processing methods. This way, we ensure that each batch meets our quality and traceability standards.

Can I return the coffee?

For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for coffee packages.

Why does my coffee taste different from one order to another?

Specialty coffee is a natural product. The flavor may vary slightly depending on the harvest, growing conditions, and roast profile chosen for that batch, but we promise to always maintain our standards of quality and freshness.
