Ferma Las Gardenias se afla in Malacatancito, Huehuetenango, una dintre cele mai cunoscute regiuni producatoare de cafea din Guatemala. La aproximativ 1.900 m altitudine, Eddy Macdonald Lopez cultiva aici Pacamara, un varietal apreciat pentru dimensiunea boabelor, complexitatea aromatica si textura ampla pe care o poate dezvolta in ceasca.

Pentru acest lot, ciresele au fost procesate natural si au trecut printr-o etapa de fermentatie anaeroba. Combinatia dintre varietalul Pacamara, altitudinea ridicata si procesarea aceasta pune accent pe dulceata si pe caracterul bogat al cafelei, pastrand in acelasi timp o aciditate suficienta pentru a-i oferi structura.

In ceasca gasim un profil profund si vivace: visine coapte, ciocolata neagra, melasa si alune de padure. Fructul aduce o aciditate suculenta, in timp ce tonurile de cacao si zahar brun construiesc o dulceata densa si persistenta.

Am prajit aceasta cafea ca Espresso Modern, urmarind sa scoatem in evidenta corpul si dulceata naturala a lotului, fara sa pierdem expresivitatea fructata a procesarii anaerobe.

Where does the coffee you roast come from?

Our coffee comes from sustainable farms, carefully selected from various producing regions. We visit at least two different origins each year, where we get to know the farmers personally and see first-hand the processing methods. This way, we ensure that each batch meets our quality and traceability standards.

Can I return the coffee?

For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for coffee packages.

Why does my coffee taste different from one order to another?

Specialty coffee is a natural product. The flavor may vary slightly depending on the harvest, growing conditions, and roast profile chosen for that batch, but we promise to always maintain our standards of quality and freshness.
