Our Ethiopian Experience

Adola washing station is the source of one of our favourite microlot coffees from Ethiopia. Razvan, our green coffee hunter has selected the fresh lots we plan to roast this season, from the new crop. As usual, the interaction with local people is an amazing experience which motivates us to roast their coffees with the utmost care.

Pe boabe am vazut ca este prajita destul de light...si i-am facut in espressor un profil separat "Pinot" 🙂 ...am ridicat temperatura de la 93 la 94 ...i-am setat o preinfuzie de 12 sec la 2.2 bar, dupa care treptat in 3 pasi ajung la 8.8 - 9 bar si treptat cobor la 4 bar. Am avut "noroc"...si la prima extractie mi-a iesit asa cum am asteptat 😎 Deja la rasnire am simtit un miros ff placut...fresh, care rar simt la rasnire 🤩 ...am facut un flat si inca un double. Ii sta ff bine si cu lapte (ii place ff mult sotie...ea este fan Brazil 😊) ...la double...imi place chiar f mult! ...este cremos, catifelat...te mangaie...are un echilibru foarte bun la acid/corp ...desi este light...am reusit sa extrag sa fie complexa...cu un corp frumos si finish lung dulce 🤩😎 ...de bitter nici nu vorbesc, pentru ca nu exista 😁 Am simtit full ciocooo si cirese...un fel de Mon Chéri 😊
